Step 1 – Wheels I generally start by cleaning the wheels as most wheel cleaners work best when the wheel is dry, but this is not always the case. Spray a light coating of the cleaner on the wheels and let it soak and work away for about 5 – 10 mins. It was pretty wet on the way up from Wellington. And the weather was not looking good. But as the drivers briefing finished the skies cleared and the day started to dry out. But this did not stop a few drivers leaving the track unexpectedly in the first few laps. No big dramas or damage either. All in all, another great sprint day.
