It was a very wet start to the day, one for the ducks. For those who did make it, there was plenty of track time as the weather started to ease off. The day was not without its drama, both on and off the track.

Round 3 of the 2020 Surgery Sprints

Round 3 started out like any normal day, but cold and windy and that feeling of rain. it held off for a good position of the morning and then the heavens opened. It’s probably the most rain we have seen at a sprint meeting for some time. Regardless there was another great turnout and a lot of action on the track as the day evolved.

We may have missed out on Round 1, but that just meant that we had to kick Round 2 off with a bang. The weather was perfect and the turnout was amazing. Great to see many of you back once again and to see so many new faces too. Great day all round. P.S Next round we will be having the Sausage BBQ and prize giving.

Round 4 – The Surgery Sprints – Hosted by the Capri Club

A huge turnout today, I think the count was 72 vehicle. Many of our regulars and lots of new faces too, which is great to see. What started out a bit overcast, soon became light showers which carried on for most of the day. That didn’t spot anyone getting out there to try and set some great lap times. The second round of The Surgery Sprints was hosted by the Fiat / IMC Committee. The weather didn’t really know if it was coming or going, light showers on and off all day.
