FULL-TIME POSITION AVAILABLE
The team at The Surgery is continuing to grow with our workload and service offerings.
We currently have a full-time position available to join our team, at New Zealand’s premier automotive and classic car restoration workshop. As part of our team, you will be exposed to a wide range of classic cars from all over the world.
We are looking for someone with a passion for all things automotive, hard-working, reliable and who enjoys being part of a highly-skilled team. You are able to think outside the box and problem solve, as well as follow our standards and processes to ensure every job is completed to our client’s expectations.
You will be hands-on with every aspect of vehicle restoration, from small rust or collision repairs, and mechanical works to entire vehicle restorations, showing attention to detail and a can-do work attitude.
Qualifications and Desirable Experience
A passion for and/or experience in the automotive industry
A commitment to a long-term role within our familial environment.
Hold an automotive apprenticeship/qualification.
Previous experience preferred in a range of automotive specialities, but not required.
Current New Zealand Drivers’ License
Current right to work in New Zealand (valid visa/NZ Resident or Citizen)
Working hours 7.30am-5pm Mon – Thurs, 7.30am-3pm Fridays and the option to join our social club outings – six Friday afternoons/year.
Hourly rate available between $21.20 – $32 based on industry experience. Training/apprenticeship and support available to the right candidate.
