Entry PPF Package - Basic Protection

The Entry Package is our basic entry-level package for the Paint Protection Film (PPF) solution. This package targets the basic high-impact zones vulnerable to stone chips, “road rash”.

  • Full Bonnet: Complete coverage of the bonnet to eliminate stone chips and bug splatter etching across the most prominent panel of your vehicle.
  • Door Cups & Door Edges: Prevents fingernail scratches in handle recesses and guards against chips on door edges in tight car parks.
  • 2 Door Steps: Protects the internal sills from scuffs and abrasions caused by footwear when entering and exiting the vehicle.

PPF / Paint Protection Film FAQ ?

What exactly is PPF, and how does it differ from a Ceramic Coating?

Think of PPF as a physical, heavy-duty armor, while a ceramic coating is like a premium, permanent wax. PPF is a thick, clear polyurethane film designed to absorb physical impacts like rock chips, road debris, and deep scratches. A ceramic coating is a liquid polymer that hardens to protect against chemical stains, UV rays, and dirt, but it cannot stop a flying rock from chipping your paint.

How does the “self-healing” feature actually work?

The top layer of high-quality PPF (like CARPRO Immortal) consists of a highly elastic polymer chain. When light scratches or swirl marks occur, they disturb this top layer. While traditional films require a heat gun or hot water to trigger the reset, advanced films heal automatically at room temperature (or even down to 0°C) to knit back together into a perfectly smooth surface.

Will PPF alter the look of my car or turn yellow over time?

Premium, modern films use an advanced, optically clear aliphatic polyurethane formula that is completely UV-resistant. It will not yellow, crack, or fade. If you choose a Gloss film, it will actually enhance the depth and shine of your factory paint. If you want a different look, you can choose a Matte film to give your glossy car a stealthy, satin finish.

How long does the installation take?

It depends entirely on the coverage you choose. A partial front-end (bumper and headlights) can take 1 to 2 days, while a full-vehicle wrap typically takes 4 to 5 days. This allows time for meticulous paint correction, precision computer-cut plotting, edge-wrapping, and the critical drying/curing phase.

Can PPF be removed later, and will it damage my factory paint?

Yes, PPF can be safely removed at any time, and it will actually leave the factory paint underneath looking brand new. Because the adhesive is designed to bond firmly but cleanly, it will not pull or damage OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) paint during removal.

Note: If your vehicle has had aftermarket bodywork or non-factory paint repairs, let your installer know beforehand, as the bond on resprayed paint can vary.

How long does PPF last?

Professional-grade films are highly durable long-term investments. Most premium installations are backed by a manufacturer’s 7 to 10-year warranty covering lifting, bubbling, cracking, or yellowing.

How do I wash my car after PPF is installed?

The film requires very minimal effort to maintain, but a few simple rules protect your investment:

  • Wait to wash: Do not wash the vehicle for the first 7 days after installation to let the edges fully cure and dry.
  • Pressure washers: You can safely use them, but keep the spray nozzle at least 12 inches away from the wrapped edges to avoid lifting the film.
  • Hand washing: Use the standard two-bucket method with a pH-neutral automotive shampoo. Avoid automated mechanical car washes with harsh rotating brushes, as they can damage both wrapped and unwrapped panels.
