The first round of The Surgery Sprints was hosted by the Triumph Owners Club. It’s Round 1 for 2019, and what a turn out we had. A great start to this year’s season, with many of our regulars, and loads of new faces, great to see. Everyone enjoyed the day, the BBQ lunch and prize giving. Round 5 – The Surgery Sprints 2018 – Hosted by The Alfa Romeo Owners Club

Round 5, the last and final round for the 2018 Surgery Sprints. It started with good weather and another great turnout. The days runs where going well, until the rain came in as forecasted, making the real winners of this round were the ducks.

1973 BMW 3.0 CSL ready for restoring

Not your normal photo, but it looked pretty cool hanging there upside down, so we thought we would grab a photo of this 1973 BMW 3.0 CSL just out of the acid dip tank at Metal Immersions. It won’t be long until on it’s way to The Surgery for a complete restoration.

The Surgery Sprints – Round 4 – Sep 10th

It was pretty wet on the way up from Wellington. And the weather was not looking good. But as the drivers briefing finished the skies cleared and the day started to dry out. But this did not stop a few drivers leaving the track unexpectedly in the first few laps. No big dramas or damage either. All in all, another great sprint day.
